L’utilizzo delle AI in campo artistico implica la trasformazione della nostra creatività in informazioni che vengono inserite nella rete ed elaborate. Questo tende da una parte a svalorizzare il genio umano e dall’altra porta, in molti casi, a una vera e propria appropriazione della nostra arte. Si sono verificate situazioni in cui persone hanno perso il posto di lavoro o in altri casi ci sono state violate le norme sul copyright. Tutto questo però colpisce gli “addetti ai lavori”, tutte quelle persone che cercano di difendere il proprio lavoro e i propri ideali. In maniera diversa, per la maggior parte delle persone, le aziende che investono nelle AI nascondono questo concetto con prodotti alla portata di tutti, divertenti e che ognuno di noi può usare. Come se siano loro ad abituare la società alla presenza delle AI. Se eticamente sia giusto o sbagliato, credo che tutto debba essere fatto con la consapevolezza delle proprie azioni. Solo una scelta personale può essere considerata una decisione consapevole. Allora a questo punto non si tratta se è giusto oppure sbagliato, ma se si è liberi di prendere personalmente una tale decisione.
Il furto della propria libertà di espressione c’è sempre stato. Non bisogna osservare le AI. Da Edison a Tesla, i brevetti e la paternità delle opere e delle invenzioni sono sempre state al centro di grandi discussioni e in ambito artistico non c’è bisogno di dire che l’AI sta rubando il lavoro. Lo si faceva anche prima quando si scopiazzava lo stile di qualcuno. Certo oggi lo si fa con una velocità maggiore, ma questo non toglie che possiamo solo accettare la trasformazione che sta avvenendo intorno a noi, che ci piaccia oppure no. L’unica cosa che possiamo fare è essere consapevoli delle nostre azioni e fare in modo da lasciar liberi tutti nella loro consapevolezza. Solo in quel modo possiamo rispondere se è giusto oppure no usare le AI.
Con questa elaborazione sull’AI voglio lanciare una sfida all’immaginazione, perché dietro a un’AI deve esserci sempre la mano dell’uomo, con la giusta consapevolezza e la libertà delle proprie azioni, etiche o no, giuste o sbagliate che siano.

On the one hand, this tends to devalue human genius and, on the other, in many cases leads to a veritable appropriation of our art. There have been situations where people have lost their jobs or, in other cases, copyright laws have been violated. However, all this affects those ‘in the know’, all those people who try to defend their work and their ideals. In a different way, for most people, companies that invest in AI hide this concept with products that are affordable, fun, and that everyone can use. It is as if they are the ones who are accustoming society to the presence of AI. Whether it is ethically right or wrong, I believe that everything must be done with an awareness of one’s actions. Only a personal choice can be considered an informed decision. So at this point, it is not a question of whether it is right or wrong, but whether one is free to make such a decision personally.
The theft of freedom of expression has always existed. We should not focus on AI. From Edison to Tesla, patents and authorship of works and inventions have always been at the center of heated debates, and in the artistic field, it goes without saying that AI is stealing jobs. This was also done in the past when someone’s style was copied. Of course, today it is done at a faster pace, but this does not change the fact that we can only accept the transformation that is taking place around us, whether we like it or not. The only thing we can do is be aware of our actions and ensure that everyone is free in their awareness. Only in this way can we answer whether it is right or wrong to use AI.
With this elaboration on AI, I want to challenge the imagination, because behind AI there must always be the hand of man, with the right awareness and freedom of his actions, whether ethical or not, right or wrong.
